The pepys connector is the activity observer for the open metadata ecosystem. Named after Samuel Pepys and the diary in which he so faithfully recorded the activity around him, it listens to the topics that the OMAG Servers write their audit logs to and maintains the UsageActivity classification of each anchor element (asset, digital product or glossary term) whose retrieval, discovery through search, update, or update or deletion of attachments and feedback is reported there.

    ObservedActivity
    ObservedActivity maps each of the anchor element activity messages that the metadata access servers write to their audit log onto the UsageActivity count that it increments.
    ObservedActivity.UsageCount
    The UsageActivity counts that an activity can increment.
    PendingUsageActivity
    PendingUsageActivity accumulates the activity observed for a single element since its UsageActivity classification was last written.
    PepysActivityObserverConnector
    PepysActivityObserverConnector keeps a diary of the activity around the anchor elements (assets, digital products and glossary terms) in the open metadata ecosystem, in the manner of Samuel Pepys.
    PepysActivityObserverProvider
    PepysActivityObserverProvider is the OCF connector provider for the Pepys Activity Observer.
    PepysTopicCatalogTargetProcessor
    PepysTopicCatalogTargetProcessor looks after one of the audit log topics that Pepys is listening to.
